Try some Tangerine Dream, 'Pheadra' or 'Zeit' for some classic ambient German electronica.

every night going to sleep, really beautiful album.
i've been listening to the catherine wheel's "ferment." it's so syrup-y (for lack of a better word) that it just lulls me to sleep.
And I've made a playlist of loads of quiet psychedelia to soothe me into the early hours. Loveit.

Seriously, the basslines on The Shape Of Punk To Come are sooo laid back, and the rest of it sooo cathartic, that I can fall asleep quite easily as it fades out.
More conventionally, however, the KLF's "Chill Out" is head, shoulders, torso, legs and podium above anything else in this genre. Get it. Now!
