London KOKO (January 12)
Glasgow School Of Arts (13)
Manchester Club Academy (14)
Brighton Concorde 2 (15)
i actually can't wait. they were fantastic when i saw them earlier this year, quite possibly my favourite gig of the year. i can't think of a band making new music who i'm more excited about, i fully expect merriweather post pavilion to be one of the albums of this record. roll on january.
with everything you've said there, except did you mean album of the year?
whoops, ive just woken up though. and actually i meant decade. but yes.
Everytime they play London I'm double-booked...I'll finally get to see them!
this will be excellent
Wednesday's are like the one night when I can't afford to be off campus (early start thursday).
Fuck it - Animal Collective are more important than education! :P
If they are half as good as they were in May I will be very, very happy.
Shame they are £16, not including booking fees etc. Bit much.
this is fantastic news. Smilies all round :D
cheapest place for manchester show tickets is at the academy box office or ticketline.co.uk ... they are on sale now
pineapple folk concerts
seeing them live only made me like their recorded music more <3
school of art too!
if this sells out before then i'll fucking cry. the record comes out that day too, no chance of me going to work then...good.
Nobody buy tickets until tomorrow!!
This isn't Take That.
I'm fairly sure tickets were still available a few days before the gig. I can't afford these for a couple of weeks so that is what I'm telling myself!
I don't get paid till next week so I'm banking on the fact that the Glasgow show won't sell too fast.
Although I have just looked on Ticketmaster and Ticketweb and neither even has the Glasgow date listed yet so I'm not going to worry too much
i've heard bad things about the Koko? is it as bad as they make out, or would it be wise to invest in Brighton tickets instead? i love animal collective with all of my being and i want the experience to be as satisfying as possible.
and they were absolutely incredible. I think many people who went share that opinion.
Just people who get their late and stuck at the back seem to complain...
Is it the full band or the 3 piece who played ATP earlier this year?
was fantastic, and i seem to remember the last animal collective show we did there sounding great too
when I saw Jenny Lewis the other week the sound was great.
so excited! I missed them there last year.
how quick is this gonna sell?
i wanna go but it's real expensive and i've not got any money :(
Chances are Manchester will sell out before I get my next loan installment in January though :(
I find it hard to understand though why its Club Academy - this will sell out in no time.
club academy holds 550 people
actually..i just had a ticket sales update! and you lot on here are right.. they are selling very fast.. did 10% of the total tickets yesterday alone! and it only went on sale yesterday lunchtime.
no, it will stay in club academy for sure
Always seems to differ when i go to club academy, trying to make plans in advance if i can get the train or have to find some alternative.
it will be an 11pm curfew
uber close to sellout. gigantic has some...
a vinyl rip of MPP has leaked. google motherfuckers.
The 128kbps one?
KIND of excited, hell i LER LER LER LOVE MY LIFE!
check out seetickets... seems all the shows are sold out now, apart from a couple for the manchester show!
