like Foals demos, and such. Well, yes, more please
left was full of ordinary guitar rhythms wiht around four guitars playing
They had one mathy track, and they didn't even stick it out on an official release, so no.
What does that mean?
"Music taste: Punk punk and more punk! Anything as long as it's good and doesn't require a degree in physics to understand!"
That kinda thing?
Except I don't like them very much, sorry
Foals are basically a really, really poor rip off of Battles and Q and not U, minus the excitement and invention.
I didn't make this to listen to yo hatin', but I'll listen to them, thanks.
Also worth checking out:
Drive Like Jehu, Faraquet and perhaps Constantines too.
sounds about right
especially "try this on your piano"
it was an actual single and things! i have it. it is rather nice.
there were a couple of tracks on there with a clean tappy guitar sound, but in fairly standard rhythms.
The Shipping News? I have no idea if this is what you're looking for, but you should listen anyway.
but isn't Math-Rock so named due to the unusual time structures and rhythms? And wouldn't any band with "relatively normal rhythms" therefore not be mathy?

maps and atlases have fairly normal rhythms (especially the new ep), but insane tappy guitars
