Rehearsal Studios - London
Hey there
Ok, so just wondering whether anybody on here knows of any fairly decent rehearsal spaces in either north or east London that won't make me dip into my savings each time we have to settle up after practice. At the moment we're paying over £60 for a 4 hour practice with drum kit and bass amp included.
If anyone knows of anywhere please do tell, it's a shame being in bands has to be so expensive these days.

There's
the one in Belzise Park (new, cna't remember it's name), there's La Rocka in Crouch End or somewhere like that. There's Mill Hill Music Mart in Mill Hill and central London you could go to Enterprise on Denmark PLace (Charing Cross Road).
Also, my mate uses on in Bounds Green but I don't know where or what it's called.

Thanks for that! We have used Bonafide in the past, just they book up well in advance, counts us out if we ring with only 2 days notice. Plus, one of us has to drive from Colchester and it's not easy parking around there, but it's definately a good place for cheap!

Mill Hill is an option, i will check that out!

in camden are good 0207 482 3500. friendly, cheap and quality studios. also you can hire a lock up for £14 a week or £7 a week for half a lock up and leave all your gear there.
Yeah, Zed one are really good
but would only be about a tenner cheaper than he's already paying if he hires the gear. Storage FTW.
Downs Sounds
are cheap and the gear's usually pretty good.
Near Arnos Grove tube.
£30 for three hours.

I know this is a very old thread, but I work at a rehearsal studio in Tottenham Hale called Bally Studios http://www.ballystudios.co.uk
Prices for a 4hr session range from £38 to £46 depending on what size room you need. The session price includes the back line, amps and a full drum kit. You can also drink as many free cups of tea and coffee as you can fit in!!
