The first Pavement album I ever got.
for me. this is good news!
there albums contain a lot of stuff that could easily not have been put on there, right, so what's an expansion going to offer? Really?
And Pavement were a band that released a lot of great EPs, and I personally enjoy the insight into how songs developed and varied.
I don't see how anybody can complain about the release of these expanded editions. It's certainly something that mostly only completists would be interested in, but I appreciate that Spiral puts so much effort into compiling them, and working on the accompanying booklets.
I'm not sure the albums contain a lot of stuff that shouldn't be on there. I don't really know what you are talking about.
a bit...meandery? Once the tune of the song has got its point across (when the song has a tune), there's a lot of half-arsed soloing and bits that (this is entirely to me, I understand, and the reason I don't like them as much as others do) could do with being hacked off.
This does not apply to the meandery bits that I like.
no matter how wrong you actually are!
They are meanderlicious.
Actually, not that much unreleased stuff...
but the Space Ghost theme is on it. That's the important thing.
Westie Can Drum is my favourite song. I love that song.
I own the crooked rain one and really should pick up the first one.
Maybe this one eventually
the Slanted and Enchanted one is the best of the three so far. You must get it.
that Wowee is pretty much an album released with the accompanying B-Sides intact, so they might disagree with you.
