just had an email from Ticketline to say the Manchester gig next Sunday is off. Can anyone shed any light on this?
i will cry.
I was rather looking forward to seeing them, I must admit.
it might just be that the Manc gig is off because of poor ticket sales, or something. I'd be disappointed if that was the case though.
Who was putting it on, it was Lamb & Wolf wasn't it. They should be flush with cash after the Approximately Infinite Universe show!
it's a bit odd all round really. Shame, because I was quite 'psyched' for next Sunday.
...in Liverpool with Errors on Sunday night.
This is goooooooood shit.
hope leeds is still on
is in Sunderland i'm afraid.
that's a bit of a shitter. Oh well, hopefully they'll reschedule, maybe.
That more or less ruins my weekend if it is true, I read on the last.fm event that there might be some problem with the venue? maybe theres an issue with the ticket site as I've read no where else that it's cancelled (Maps & Atlases Myspace, Star and Garter Website and the Lamb & Wolf Myspace) though that might be just wishful thinking on my behalf.
Can anyone give any more info on this?
come see them play in Sheffield on 6th...this town needs guns and colour are supporting so it's a fantastic line up!
and who's supporting? ive not heard a single word about support, everywhere still says "guests"
My sister is one half of Lamb & Wolf. This gig is indeed cancelled for reasons beyond their control, they certainly don't enjoy having to cancel shows!
The other shows are all on as far as I am aware.
Also, the Approximately Infinate Universe tour certainly didn't leave them flushed with cash! They have put on some amazing shows though. Dan Deacon on the barge down the ship canal and Boris at the church spring to mind! They are putting on Zach Hill of Hella at Sacred Trinity (I think it's in November) so check that one out!
it was pretty amazing, they're stunning to watch.
the drummer was pretty incredible, i thought.
i can only concur with the assessment of 'amazing'
It's with Errors at Korova, will be awesome!
the last few posts in a thread about a cancelled gig have been "hey, at least they're playing over here where you can't get to!"
but who can really be bothered any more?
It's the replacement for the manc gig, and it really isn't that far at all, but still must be gutting if you can't make it.
