Don McLean's "Vincent" is an astonishingly good song.
Or Do It Again by the Beach Boys. Both appear to have been written out of history.
white town! There was a load of press for him cos he made the song in his bedroom, and now everyone's at it.
My mate could make his watch do the "beep beep beep beep bop" noise.
...tori amos was number one
Your Woman was knocked off #1 by Beetlebum
This is one of my better/less terrible ideas for a thread...
I can't remember who it's by.
Or that song that lists violent themes in society like 'The A-Team' and stuff. I can vaguely remember absolutely loving these as a very small child. And they we're defintitely number ones.
Is that forgotton enough for you?

All number ones, when was the last time you heard them?
It was number one when I was in the top juniors. Our teacher,Mr Stephenson, did a load of work with us on the song, what the words meant, van Gogh's paintings etc. I think he may have actually been responsible for my subsequent anal interest in pop music.
Pretty decent if you like that sort of thing. Sounds ace when in a gnarly club and you are smashed, let me tell you.
Satisfaction by Benny Benassi number one? If so, that wins.
