He doesn't rap, he sings! It's odd, I think I like it, but I don't think I should.
taking the piss when he did it at the VMAs considering his spat with them last year, but no, it's gonna be a single.
Isn't it more like "use some of your stashed cash to buy a better video director, you skinflint cunt"?
Only just discovered autotune Kanye?
make him sound like Cher in that "DO YOU BELIEEEEVEE IN LOVE AFTER LOVE" song. But hey, give a black man a chance!
sounds like an improvement to me
i HATE autotune, it is the worst thing, even if done deliberately for effect or something, it always sounds terrible.
I liked Kanye West to begin with (circa first album) but he is such a fucking dickhead these days ive lost all respect for him.
but this is also rubbish. He is tryin to be Lil Wayne aint he? lol...
His beats are usualy alright though he should stick to that.
...in R&B/hip-hop, as opposed to Lil Wayne.
Anyway, I'm not blown away by this track either, but could see how it could conceivably fit into the context of an album.
With the new LP being called '808'S & Heartbreak' I think this could be his 80's soul album.
Oh yeah...the autotune features on every single track.
I look forward to it.
it just reminded me of some of Weezys last album...
idea aping, innit. I like A Milli but Lollipop is ruuuuubish
its not amazing though.
A Milli is ace though yeah.
I dont mind the T-Pain stuff on Tha Carter III and I usualy really really hate T-Pain
perhaps because of the autotune infact. Ewwww.
I havnt heard the whole record yet but everyone and anyone is saying how amazing it is, so i guess it must be worth a listen...
but has some rubbish bits.
he's just following snoop dogg'd sexual eruption with a PISS poor attempt of his own
minus one million points Kanye
when are people going to stop using autotune as a vocal effect? IT'S AWFUL. STOP.
I do agree that autotune is being over-used right now, but album-wise Kanye has failed to let me down so far, so I just hope he doesn't this time.
...the Cannibal Ox/Bright Eyes fans amongst his fanbase.
...it is quite boring.
I was just kind of theorising that I don't think that he's got the more left-field of his fans in mind with this release and that doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing (although it could be).
That's right - the old Bloc Party defense.
But really, Love Lockdown is lacking a lot. I don't know what exactly, but a lot of it anyhow.
