Does it not make anyone else laugh how posh he sounds?
"Come and DARNCE with me!"
from Reading and Ibiza live, Dizzees shows look like the most agonisingly boring gigs to attend.
he's excellent live - i've seen him 3 times and i'm not even a 'real' fan (i only have the first album). i went to watch him the last time because i had so much time the first two.
he is so much fun live and he made me even more of a fan becasue of his live show.
That calvin harris tune is wack though.
i meant 'such a good' time
they are honestly one the funnest gigs ive been to
when Leeds goths The Mission released a tune called 'Dance on Glass' which was sung in a bizarre, posh, southern accent so it sounded like 'dance on gloss'.
They were from Leeds.
dizzee live is just like being surrounded by a sea of bellends
when I saw him but that was to be expected it was at Leeds Festival after all...
Some fucker cept asking me if I was selling drugs, he wouldn't take no for an answer.
Dizzee Rules! and is probibly the best rapper we have in the UK sorry Roots Manuva...
my hair is one of the most beautiful things in existance...
its diffrent now anyway...
yeah It doesnt try to be anythign but a party pop rap tune and thats fine I just dont like it very much. Dizzee does pop very well though at times.
2004? Sonic Youth/Stephen Malkmus one anyhow. He was the best thing there by a long way. Well, him and Love.
Saw him at Glastonbury this year too. Still fucking incredible. Gotta love the diz.
And that Calvin Harris tune? AMAZO.
And all the grumpy idiot Dizzee fans were moaning.
But I was surrounded some typical whiteboy indie cunts grabbing their crotch and laughing at the fact that they were watching a black man on stage who wasn't Kele from Bloc Party. I'm not a massive fan of Maths + English but I still reckon Showtime's one of my favourite rap albums, if not just albums full stop.
same with lethal bizzle, but its also really fun if you ignore them and get into it
Boy In Da Corner?
thats my fav reckon its prety muh a modern classic in my opinion.
fair dos its not trying to be anything its not but its shit, its not a dance song and its not a rap song, and Calvins little bit is gash. Thats what I object to, having a dj play the Calvin Harris bit whilst dizzee and his boyz jus dance a bit, not really doing anything. Fair dos i havnt seen him live but from what ive seen and heard i really wouldnt want to.
Hold Ya Mouf and Seems 2 Be are definitely two of my favourite songs, but I got into Showtime first so I guess that's why I prefer it.
they all have some awsom moments on them for sure.
whippet on a string, mister????
in the south-east of england, posh or not posh.
dance with me, it's dizzee's hard knock life.
