I am visiting Glasgow thursday and Friday can someone tell me the best place to purchase cd's or vinyl
i couldnt tell you were it was though, as i've only been there once. It was pretty good though. They have a mega huge Zavvi too, but its zavvi, and that means its pretty shite.
but missing just under the central umbrella is ACE most of the time. the amount of awesome things i've found in there dirt cheap is ridiculous.
other brilliant places:
-union street fopp (the west end one sucks, guys)
-and volcanic tongue is sort of interesting, but i suppose you have to be really into noise to make it worth the trek.
you're pretty much spoilt for choice in glasgow, when it comes to record shops to be honest.
and i got the last herman dune album (giant)for £4 in there 2 months ago! good deal.
and that's about it.
i love mono. and i haven't so much as seen it in months! it will be lovely to go in with some birthday cashhh.
its on Byres Road, loads of great bargains to be had, I got the Knife - Silent Shout and 2 Daniel Johnston albums for £9 on Saturday. Oh and Monorail is nice too, plus you can have a beer afterwards to celebrate your purchases
I spend a lot of my sundays and paycheque in fopp byers road.
