What the LIVING FUCK were all the human race thinking there then, eh?
she played ironic in the third encore
... this is a really good album. Which it is.
"Fucking hell - Flea's on it - it must be good".
It sorta was.
everyone was acting a bit insane - see also Princess Diana dying, Titanic making almost $2 billion and winning 11 Oscars, and Men Behaving Badly. Jagged Little Pill's absurd success is the least of it really.
Didn't Hootie and the Blowfish also release an album that sold something stupid like 14 million in the USA around the same time.
Hip-hop, Grunge, Drumn Bass, Trip-hop all produced great things.
Oh - and there was that Brit-pop thing too. And Bush (the band). *shudder*
but like I say, there was a lot of insanity (including Bush's success in the USA)
brings the lols
Cringing at the big gob and the fact that she is God.
awful lyrics, awful voice, stupid hair, stupid face, shit name, shit cunt.
mid 90's were brilliant: tricky, oasis, blur, pulp, men behaving badly, big breakfast, school trips (for me anyway)portishead, select, vox, melody maker, nme, TFI friday, wearing ben shermans, nirvana, the death throws of the tory government, eric cantona etc..
yeah i remember john redwood clocking that dude in the head with an accurately hurled rock
and again... brilliant.
His hair's similar to Alanis's.
my housemate Tom loves Bush!
I caught him downloading it th other day.
people who don't actually like music. Everyone knows a girl who owns six CDs; this one, New Woman's Greatest Hits, James Cunt and probably Simply Red amongst others. Truly dreadful.
That Flea doesn't like music?
either that or he likes the cheque he gets from it, but i doubt he'd have played on most of her albums otherwise.
And you're correct: i like Alanis Morissette, therefore i know nothing about music and "don't actually like it". I'll bin my collection of post-rock now
You, you, you oughta know!
No joking, her second biggest selling album too.
The sad thing is, I loved it at school. God, I had terrible taste*...
* Though I still maintain that 'Fantasy' by Mariah Carey is a long lost pop gem
is dope! "whatcha gonna do when you get outta jail? "im gonna do a remix"
go back like babies and pacifiers
back in the day.
whether or not i would now is another matter. i used to love Mr Bean but i watched it last weekend and its proabably one of the most terrible comedy series in living memory!
