Aesop Rock

Anyone else a fan? Absolutely blown away by how good their last record is. Might be in my top 5 hip hop albums ever already.

Admittedly, its a very dull and predictable list without their inclusion, but seriously a band well worth checking out if they mean nothing to you...

  • Not so much a band as a man!

He's one of my all time favourite artists ever!

Latest album is good, but his worst yet I reckon. Most people reckon Fast Cars, Danger, Fire and Knives is his worst, but although a change in sound (heavier beats, more polished) it's incredible.

My favourite albums are Float and Bazooka Tooth, both absolute flawless classics.

    Awesome live too!

    • Cool cheers for the advice...

      Worst album yet? Seriously???

he must have done some pretty awesome shit beforehand then!

      • i think it's his best

the previous albums suffered from some uninspiring beats and a more irritating tone to his voice. None Shall Pass is his most relaxed and smooth, and the rapping is just outstanding. Ace could hold his own against anyone

        • Yeah

His last album was good but his flow gets claustrophobic, incessant even, losing its captivating quality.

          • i like incessant rapping

it's captivating in a whole different way

            • probably

the best live hip hop artist I've ever seen

              • funny

I just picked up None Shall Past again for the first time in months.

Great live act. Hip hop is normally so lame live but he really pulls it off. Catch him if possible.

                (cute too)

He is good - he had that fat bloke with him last time. Big John or something. His DJ, Big Wiz, is pretty shit hot too.
