i think i might go to this instead.
it clashes with wolf parade. I hope there's another london show / in-store.
I am buying my ticket as soon as I get home!
it sounds like a wussier version of HEALTH with some steel drums added as a USP?
I agree with the HEALTH comparisons, to a point, but they've got alot more to recommend them that.
To each his own though.
just pitch-shifted guitar, abe vigoda sound completely nothing like health in any way other than having similar instrumentation, in fact in the US people think vampire weekend stole a lot of the calypso guitar "tropical punk" sound from them too, again I don't really hear the similarity.
just guitars tuned high.
I like that HEALTH own percussion to the extent they can be compared to a self-proclaimed 'tropical-punk' band.
And an awesome one at that...
explained to me what "tropical-punk" was last time i asked either.
i'm there for sure, i was dithering about Wolf Parade but this is going to be so much better.
of old blue please?
not sure wether to get a london ticket now or hold out for more dates
other UK dates yes!
what the other dates are, please...
only 18 tickets left for london btw
but I've been waiting three years to see Wolf Parade, so they win.
will be so good. Fantastic band live.
bought a ticket anyway. the better not play leicester (which i think is pretty unlikely anyway)

The Deaf Institute?
never even heard of it.
on Grosvenor Street, opposite MMU.
more than you'd think. The agent told me all the dates have gone, although that tour hardly looks full!
