Brixton academy 20th November.
at least won't have to rush for tickets
ryan adams real name is Bryan Ryan Adams?
Sonny Mann, the large-Spectacled wife of Beirut hostage Jackie Mann's voice had no echo.
...he's also the brother of Chesney Hawkes.
Chesney Hawkes used to go out with Sidney Cooke?
he bought his first real six string from the five and dime? Rumour has it he played it until his fingers bled.
...who masturbates to Come Pick Me Up.

I'm thinking a cheeky weekend in Dublin...
if or when tickets are on sale?
for presale. See his website for links
presale? i must be stupid i cant work anything out
it really couldn't be any easier.
to go with the ryanair flights, to see ryan adams.
leeds is close. very close. do you reckon it will have sold out by next week?
will finally get to catch him since i missed out when he cancelled that nme show!
also no koko show!
I don't think it will sell out for many weeks!
i'd thought he was quite popular, and its not like he's over here all the time
or so, maybe a little longer. but he tours often.
i only started listening to him about a year ago, i don't think he's been here since then, but im almost certainly wrong!
these autumn tours are becoming quite regular. it's nice.
First saw him September 06, then November 07, now its gonna be October 08.
Seems like he likes Europe in the autumn.
As for tickets selling out fast, depending on the size of the venue, he's certainly not known to sell out in the first week. Maybe in London.
brixton is 4000.
it'll take a while to sellout i think.
a while, but it'll happen. hammersmith is the same size (ish) as brixton but sold out.
i like brixton betterer though. yay!
hammersmith is bigger. but wasnt that back in Gold days? or am i getting confused.
was last autumn!
Gram Parsons died on the day Ryan was born, didn't he?
He died the same year, and shared a birthday with Ryan and Robin Hood song man.
Notice to all persons thinking of attending this tour:
Please do not buy tickets if you want to hear "I Still Love You New York" and "FOOOYACRACKAAAAHHHH!!!!".
I assure you: you will not hear them, you will talk throughout the gig, you will spoil it for me, you may be tempted to heckle him.
But seriously. Do people assume he's like Dido or something, and is just going to play his highest charted singles?
anyone else think these venues are pretty big based on his recent output and the size venues he's been playing over here?
What does the promoter know we don't?
maybe the new record is ultragood and has a big possible single?
he always plays.
played Apollo last few times.
Victoria Apollo 2006, Shepherd's Bush Empire 2006, KOKO 2007, Hammersmith Apollo 2007 and now this.
LOL @ all the cardinals h8ters as i think the new record is going to be credited just as "the cardinals".
'The Cardinals III/IV'.
But he's also doing a solo one.
I think its a bad idea sticking with the Cardinals.
He's gone from alt country, to loads of different types of stuff back to alt country again.
are a bad idea. its annoying really because he's obviously happier playing with them, but then that leads to collaboration with casal, and slightly more boring records. I WANT HEARTBREAK AND ADDICTION PLS
The Cardinal Cave or whatever.
There's one about Neal Casal where he's like "he's my soul-mate. I feel so lucky to be part of the Cardinals."
just that cack koko show
am abroad on holiday on the 20th November. Arrrrgghhh.
was PROPER cack.
So dont hold that one duff show against him.
Now, I can't decide which show to go to. Southampton for cost, or Dublin for fun (but would have to meet the entire bill for two people).
40mins to decide....
as the solo acoustic shows.
these things go on sale at the same time as the new girls aloud, genesis and oasis tours on the same shite shite site?
Sweet fucking christ. Going to have to find a cheap hotel now...
And still no dublin link!
they have them on ticketmaster but you need a code.
in southampton, think i'll wait and try a tout on the night.
Now just need the nod from the girlf that we can go to Dublin rather than scumhampton.....
£32.50 inc fees
oh well :)
The ad in NME can very easily be missed without seeing Ryan Adams mentioned. I'm still not convinced about the current route he's taking.
£32.50 is really steep as well. Slipknott/Machine Head/Bodom is that much.
But Machine Head and Bodom would both sell out Brixton in minutes. Slipknot are basically an arena band.
Ryan Adams should be a £20 act.
this was £25.00 exc fees, £32.50 including. and that was because i got them from $eetickets (crazy satire) on the presale rather than wait for someone less, y'know, evil.
the silly metal tour was £32.50 without, so more like £40 with.
