Spare ticket for the electric ballroom gig 27/8. £17. Anyone interested?
...if i didn't already have a ticket.
Because I *dont'* already have a ticket...
see you at the weekend!
and starting a roll call. So who's going then?
I told you earlier.
Guntrip went to Ryan Adams at Bush Hall and my sister told him he was guntrip.
but not rly looking forward to it.
I'm Wide Awake It's Morning, but most people on here'll say lifted.
If you were impressed with the 'solo' stuff you heard at Leeds, you'll love this.....because it's much, much better.
but I can't :(
Does anyone know if he's going to play bright eyes stuff, or just things off his new solo album?
the album is shit. i dont wanna go anymore :(
all i can find is special guests..
he was great as were the band, no bright eyes stuff, but all the better as it worked as a gig in it's own right. he seemed in a good mood compared to when I have seen him as bright eyes and really gave a great performance despite a bad cold...
was impressed... a few covers in there and the band take turns on vocals for some of what im guessing are their own songs.
all in all a very good night.
For me that would be worth the admission price alone.
This was meant for the question about support.
It's still not sold out, strange that. Sorry, I know it's a bit unrelated.
Just interested in the choice of covers.
Cant help but be a little disappointed by lack of Bright Eyes material, ridiculous I know, feels I am destined never to hear the old tracks ever again with Bright Eyes going all polished and produced on the last album.
Laura Laurent, False Advertising, Southern State, The Calendar Hung Itself, A Song To Pass The Time, Just On The West Coast and Southern State. and probably more that I forget.
so I'm not really sure what Bright Eyes going "all polished and produced" (because Letting off the Happiness isn't?!?) has to do with anything.
Shepherds Bush (both nights) and Koko setlists were pretty good sets actually.
the americana version of june on the west coast again.
he cancelled the day before I was going to see him. For the first time :(
I freaking love Bright Eyes.
The tent was only a fifth full and he was very boring indeed.
May be better headlining , though i doubt it.
