Do not do that again.
everyone knows you can find anything if you 'google it' ;)
Seeing as my Mogwai posts are missing. I didn't post a link to the album at all, I merely linked to a public Radiohead forum :)
would you give the new Bloc Party out of 10 Mike?
Some truly great ideas - some brilliantly realised, some not quite so.
It's a good album. To be honest, better than I expected after 'Mercury' - not that I don't like the song, more that I didn't think much of the album would match/better it. But there are a good few songs that do.
The published review reflects a number of my thoughts well.
Flux wasn't very good, nor is mercury.
I personally have enjoyed all three of their albums so far too.
fair play we all gota love someone yeah...
Just cos they sell out arenas all over the place it doesn't mean they make amazing music, I mean Tiesto sells out arenas all over the world and he is rubbish.
yes I am ;)
they love that shit
Oh man. I can't believe you're talking about Tiesto again. Number one reference of the week, man.
and its a good album
he aint bashin it
Sounded awful the first few times I heard it. Then I saw them do it live: immediate sense made. AND LASERS.
I'd imagine it would get the crowd moving a fair bit.
He's been all over pretty much every other forum on teh internertz taking links down. What a trooper! LOL.
indeed a DiS member.
well, obviously some of those leaks are spoof.. the one with the below tracklisting in particular.. but it's a corking record! any ideas who is it by? sounds like Explosions In The Sky meets God Is An Astronaut
01 - kissing the sky
02 - thy the fallen ones
03 - trees are dying
04 - the day ammy lied
05 - river flooding
06 - yesterday never back
07 - here i come
08 - tokyo night
09 - the hawk is howling
This is great - but who is it? Any ideas?
Track 4 is certainly a Mogwai track.
Track 9 is the name of Mogwai's next album.
I dont really think it is... doesn't *sound* like Mogwai to my ears at all.. I'm really digging "thy the fallen ones" track, it's a pure beauty!
EITS + GIAA = Just about any half-baked post rock band in existence.
but a scene follower would still say they both have their own trademark sound.. at least I can tell apart :-) used them just as a reference to point out that the tracks in questions are not penned by Mogwai, imo..
it's a great track... but I've got no idea who is it by, as stated before, it does not sound like Mogwai to me.. a great mystery..
I'm penniless, but I am buying that album as soon as it is out.
