Public School gash band.
..kind of a cuntish comment is that?
some of my friends go there. It's standard. :)
Three of her friends went home this morning because they couldn't cope with the mud. They'll be missing out on a whole days worth of live bands.
I think that says it all about this festival.
...friends of mine left Glastonbury on the Friday morning because it was too muddy.
In 1997 at Glasto we arranged to meet friends in front of the Main stage Thursday morning. When we got there they had all their stuff with them ready to go home. 1 (admittedly horrendous) night of rain and they were off. Over 24 hours before the first band played!
left Glastonbury within an hour. Not sure what year - maybe 95 or 96? They hated everyone there immediately.
They were kind of proved right when the tents were slashed and hands reached in to steal stuff (a tent with only girls in) and I had to endure a guy smoking crack in mine who simply would not leave.
that was the year there was a river about ten metres down the hill from our tent. not good.
a white man with dreadlocks doing an acoustic version of Bohemian Rhapsody, and I've been told that coming up after the break I can expect The Hoosiers, Amy Macdonald and the Sugababes.
To be honest, I deserve to be date-raped for being stupid enough to sit through all of the white man dreadlock Bo-Rhap fiasco. Would any of the other millions of sperm to egg combinations that I beat in the race to become a living human being have wasted 4 minutes of their life watching that? I doubt it.
girls aloud were awesome.
I went to this on the Sunday (I had a free guest pass) and it was pretty diabolical music-wise. There was the odd treat though i.e. The Stanglers, Robyn, Delays, Echo & the Bunnymen.
The popularity of Reverend and The Makers, Scouting for Girls and The View was quite frightening!
