Arcade Fire's finest song?
What's the consensus?
What would your suggestion be?
Tunnels and Wake Up are waaaaaaay better.
but I did enjoy making a joke involving the song title when a parking steward us in a diffrent direction when I went to one of their gigs.
the polish thought the same thing
and the Poles NEVER trusted the Germans.
O no one listens to them, dont be silly
somewhere Northern and quite desolate though!
this song still gives me goosebumps.
its catchy but personifies everything stopping Neon Bible from being great, it's too in your face... the first album felt like they were wispeing a dark secret into your ear.. so it felt more personal and as a result special. With Neon Bible it felt like they just got of the phone and yelled 'FUCK! PEOPLE PEOPLE PEOPLE! I JUST GOT SOME REAL SHIT NEWS it's the same message and for the most part makes no difference to the outcome but it feels less personal. No Cars Go is one of the main causes of this thus making this nothing more then something I like to sing along to rather then feeel WOW!
so not *strictly* a neon bible track.
It's my second favorite after in the backseat
no cars go - arcade fire's best song?
is the one for me
I do love both their albums they are both ace ace ace.
Although, it works better on the EP, or just better generally. *indie alert*
when bands dont even play instruments like before they were bands thats when I like bands you know...
by a mile
Intervention is the best on Neon Bible.
at least best on neon, possibly altogether
and better than the ep version. But 1/2 of Funeral is better.
it's good though. just nt their best. I haven't listened to Funeral in ages, and i really want to now.
is 7 kettles or haiti. can't decide between the two
TAM's version of the song?
And there is nothing on Neon Bible that comes near to even the weakest song on Funeral. They mistake melodrama for drama, and use bombast as a substitute for impact. Funeral had lots of moments that broke my heart and flipped my stomach. neon Bible had none.
My favourite track is Crown of Love.
Straight to the point. I wished they'd written more songs like that!
