Goodbye enemy airship the landlord is dead
I love 'the landlord is dead' when all the swirly guitars come in, bliss.
Have you seen them live? Utterly amazing, I saw them twice in the space of four days, much love for this band.
i haven't seen them yet *cries*. its in my list of things to do asap.
'Goodbye enemy airship' is for me the best. it makes my tummy flip
I used to love gettting stoned and listening to this album
ah yes, make sure you see them if they ever tour again. they closed the 'vs the fans' ATP and it was sublime. perfect end to a perfect weekend.
but prefer 'you, you're a history in rust'. 'a tender history in rust' is one of my favourite bits of music.
has anyone heard 'and yet, and yet'?
it's the weakest of the 4 albums of there's I've heard but it's still really good. My favourite is 'winter hymn country hymn secret hymn' but they're all excellent.
i love 'and yet and yet' as an album title so was hoping it would be outstanding. i'll probably buy that and whchsh in the near future anyway.
get WHCHSH first then go for & yet & yet. It was the first album of there's I heard and I couldn't stop listening to it for ages afterwards. It was the beginning of my love for all things Constellation.
But You, You're A History in Rust is my Favourite. One of the best albums of last year but very little mention of it anywhere
I have the others, but haven't heard them as much as I'm so in love with You, You're a History in Rust - how do they compare?
You should have taken it.
just haven't listened to them as much. Thanks for the NY Noise CD by the way, it's been on my Amazon wishlist for months!
all worth listening to. You hear the progression with each successive album though.
its my fave, cold?
the only album of there's I haven't heard. I should probably investigate further.
in a nice laid back space jazz sort of way
They are one of the best bands in the history of music in my opinion!
to say I prefer them to GS!YBE.
but maybe it's harsh to compare them. I don't see too many similarities, except for the ideas of an album as a whole piece of music, and their use of ambience and interludes...
To be fair, I don't think there are many bands i've ever heard that are better than Do Make Say Think. Auberge le Mouton Noir is probably my favourite pice of music ever.
Consistently brilliant. I need to them live
is one of the most beautiful songs ever written imo - I love them a lot.
They were great at ATP. I had to drag myself away from Subtle but it was well worth it
Can we have this removed, please? thanks
I'll do that some other time though.
one of my favourite records ever.
Love all their stuff.
Fucking joyous live as well.
check it oot
