I don't think I've ever seen anyone talk about these lot on DiS. Anyone care for a bit of progressive kuduro?
- and the dancing in their lasst video was, yknow, whoah.
Quite like what I've heard but not at album purchase stage yet, given how far behind I am on album purchases.
Have you heard to No Lay version of Yah. Good times, man. I love that girl.
Where can I get her version from?
No Lay's a British MC. I got it off-of iTunes. It doesn't have a remix name or owt though.
In fairness, it's basically just the same song but with a verse from her. I'm just a bit of a fan loike.
point out No Lay is interviewed in the latest Plan B. she comes across really well.
ridiculous amounts of fun.
They were so good, easily a contender for best live act I've seen this year.
it was at Sonar. They tore the place up, although would love to see them at a really small venue.
They sound just like all the other Kuduro i've heard...
Yeah, they're amazing live - so much energy. I wish Petty always toured with them though, she adds alot to their sound.
They're also amazing DJs. I saw them at Sonar and they played a bunch of sped up house records mixed in with these incredible Kuduro tunes. Ace.
I spoke to some guy from Portugal not long ago and said that Buraka are known as Progressive Kuduro. I don't know much about Kuduro so I can't really comment.
