dingwalls on Wednesday was epochal. Mass stage invasion, Spider from the Pogues AND EVERYTHING!
Very enjoyable, except I wish the mic didn't keep cutting in and out on the female vocals for Hard Rain.
it's my BIRTHDAY gig
In the same week, they've also got Fionn Regan w/ St. Vincent, and Camera Obscura w/Frightened Rabbit which I also immediately bought tickets too.
Replaced with Pete Molinari :-)
I wouldn't have got a ticket if I had known about this six hours ago...
The other bands on there sound intriguing enough for me to make the effort...
and popular workshop, with 2 more yet to be announced as yet.
as someone is in the process of doing. unless you are that "extremely bummed" person who is doing exactly that already.
Hopefully they will be better than when I saw them at Union Chapel for a benefit thing about 5 months ago. I waited years to see them then and you couldn't hear what he was singing at all.
no problem. It's a great album isn't it. The first is obviously very good, but this one just feels that bit deeper. Having said that, when they did The Comeback and Very Loud, at Dingwalls it was magic.
Tempted to maybe go to Brighton tomorrow!
