What a beautiful piece of music,
any love for them on DiS?
Can't wait to hear more from this band.
have terrible music taste, lol.
Pretty good. Can't really expand further 'til I have $$$ to spend on cds.
of the last couple of years. Its a really desperately sad record though. Sonically really ambitious and it has a massive heart as well.
saw them at cargo fairly recently. the new stuff sounds kinda cool - but as with the rest of a live twilight sad set its largely undiscernable from the MBV-esque walls of reverberating guitar. will be interesting to hear it on record.
it's a brilliant album and they're bloody loud when they play live too.
their front man is a really nice guy - i saw them in preston last year and had a chat with him - he introduced himself with a handshake - really polite.
one of the best of 2007, and probably the best UK release from last year in my opinion. This year's EP they released was pretty good too.
Still a few fillers on it though
That is all
I seem to remember everyone on here spaffing over it when it came out.
Yay, The new E.P, is it just the songs redone, or is it demo's of the songs?
I believe. Plus a 'new' song and a cover version.
It's more like the developed versions of the songs.
The way they are playing them live right now
I prefer the album versions. Which one is the cover?
Some Things Last A Long Time - Daniel Johnston cover I think.
just realised *duh* me.
