me -
Hope Of The States
Cooper Temple Clause
Easyworld
The Black Amnesias live, one of the most breathtaking moments i've ever witnessed
TCTC - Absolutely underrated and irreplacable, you just don't get bands like that any more
Easyworld - Gutted I never got to see them in an intimate venue

rocket from the crypt : (
On A Rope
is one of the best party tracks ever. I remember seeing them doing it on TFI Friday of all things. Looking back now, they were visually like a fat Hives. Apart from that one in the Hives who is portly. And the other way round, time wise.
But yeah,them.
Oh and Menswear and Gay Dad.
Also the coopers
Saw them only once. Never seen a bad tour with so much equipment, rack after rack after rack of gear. Good noises.
Botch
i miss TCT alot, i never got to see them live :(
and i miss Electrelane
me too :(
Me neither :(
No matter how many times I met any of the members, it won't compensate for that fact
To avoid any confusion
I'm talking about TCTC of course
just bands I never got to see live or before my time
Hendrix
Ron Hardy
Larry Leven
I saw Pixies but I wouldn;t mind them back and to there old selves again.
magoo
probably the only essential band of the 21st century
Magoo are still going strong
new album on the way soon
miss pulp
miss seeing the get up kids
i would say
Meet me in st. louis, which is perhaps a bit recent, but i only saw them play once while Toby was still around, and it still haunts me a little bit that i didn't just abandon my life and follow them around for the rest of that tour..
Scouting For Girls
my aim is pretty shit though
HOWWWWWAY
mad props
i miss
blink 182.
EASYWORLD
so so so so so so so so much
I saw Easyworld about 5-6 times
I remember thinking at the time this band are immense, the singer is so passionate, the songs are poppy as hell, they cant go wrong. Then they made an lp and decided to make ballads...
Shame, they were really good!
LARRIKIN LOVE
obviously.
gorkys zygotic mynci,
amazing both times i saw them. richard james was really good on his own, but less energetic. euros childs was a bit disappointing on his own.
also zabrinski were incredible the four times i saw them, how they weren't bigger is strange.
Coopers
saw them loads of times.
^
they wrote the best melodies
yeah
I think Gorky's petered out a lot though. John leaving left a huge dent in their sound, Euros' solo stuff is a lot more like early Gorky's though, which is never a bad thing!
i miss them too
saw them loads, but only after John Lawrence left the band. and missed their tour for Gorky 5 where they had Olivia Tremor Control supporting :(
Have Zabrinski split ?
yes,
and mumm-ra and clor and i was a cub scout
This week, it's
The Unicorns
By far
Death From Above 1979
Never got to see them live, their first album was fucking incredible and not to produce another one was a crime.
Urusei Yatsura
Glasgow's answer to Pavement.
I've seen them.
They were amazing.
Meet Me In St Louis
as much as become a cliche to say it, their debut really was stunning
Yourcodenameis:milo
Million Dead
Smashing Pumpkins
Gish - Siamese Dream era
pavement
pavement's answer to pavement
Pavement for me also
It must be about that time of year for a reunion rumour?
^ second YCNI:M and Million Dead
Miss Black America
Arab Strap
Charlottefield
HOPE OF THE STATES
=(
& Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, Pavement, Pulp
Khanate!
So so much. Still waiting for the unreleased stuff to come out.
Grandaddy
Still breaks my heart thinking about that Glasto performance and the less than acrimonious split
acrimonoius
has a negative, not positive meaning. Took me a while to get that one, hate for you to delay.
Yep...Grandaddy
for me as well.
And Hefner.
aaaah khanate
how i miss thee.
grandaddy
though their last album wasn't amazing, would have loved to have seen them live.
McLusky
FotL ease the pain though
TCTC
oh yes
Rocket From The Crypt

Bear vs Shark
Kids Near Water
GYBE
Uncle Tupelo
Yellow Swans
NMH
HOTS were shit though...
The Little Explorer
Hot Snakes
!
Charlottefield
:(
Clor,
Tom Vek, DFA1979, The Open too, their second album was quite good i thought. And Field Music, although i'm enjoying the three side projects i have to say.
Field Music
will make another album, they never really split up. There just doing new things for a while.
Yeah, they're on "hiatus" or whatever
although i saw David B a few months ago and he dodged the question of a new field music album at some point, said he couldn't say either way whether it would happen. Hope they do manage another, the last one was cracking!
the unicorns
sometimes i still idly dream of a reunion and a second album.
and yeah, delgados, boo radleys, pavement...but at least those bands saw it through a bit
The Blood Brothers!
Why has nobody said this already?
The Libertines
it won't to my superior indier-than-thou street cred any good, but they were ace and i miss them lots
unicorns 3rded
someone said tom vek,
wasn't that a person? i didn't like the music, 'nothing but green lights' was a rip-off of talking heads 'once in our lifetime', but still i hope he didn't split up. was it by chainsaw?
He is a person
yeah, rather than a band. Don't think he's split up or anything, he's just been "working on his follow up album" for the past 3, almost 4 years!
Oh haha...
just got your joke at the end too! Whoops!
meet me in st louis
never managed to see them :(
LONGPIGS
innit. great band.
The Sundays
why wont you come back?!
.
arab strap
shed seven
MMM
Shed Seven reformed and are touring still.
pavement
electrelane
arab strap
Yourcodenameis:milo
Easily one of the best british guitar bands of the noughties IMO. All the albums were fab and they were an amazingly tight live band.
Morning Runner
I really got into their debut, shame they broke up.
def
whole-heartedly agree with the initial three, TCTC's live techno version of Panzer Attack pleases me
I agree,
The Black Amnesias live is just immense. I'd love to have seen Hope Of The States again. Would a Verve-esque reunion in about ten years is too much to ask?
When I saw the thread title, I thought 'TCTC'
Then I opened it and remembered how awesome HOTS were as well. Well done you for pointing it out again.
And yet Stereophonics are still going..the world can be a giant bastard sometimes
