That's Andy Gill of Gang of Four btw.
It'll probably be shit, but y'know, it's a step in the right direction.
I don't think I've heard an Andy Gill-produced record, aside from the Gang of Four records of course.
The last three albums have been top.
I mean One Cure Fits All was terrible, though I put that down to the awful production as much as the songs. Never Apologise, Never Explain had a good sound though.
to regret your user ID then? :)
I wish they'd hurry up and do a UK tour.
Troublegum and Infernal Love are lost classics.
Most Therapy? fans would rather pull their teeth out than admit that Troublegum is their favourite. It's an all-time classic.
I relistened to it yesterday and it's still brilliant to listen to. It's a work of genius on so many levels.
ever seems to rate Semi-Detached, but it's probably my favourite.
I also heard that they were recording their album in Newcastle Upon Tyne and were planning on playing a "secret show" in the Cluny, but nothing seems to have came about.
keep it old school.
had terrible production as well though! Although arguably better production than Nurse. How is it that one of the greatest live bands of all time are generally incapable of getting a decent sound on record? Someone should remind them how easy it is:
1. SET UP YOUR INSTRUMENTS.
2. PRESS RECORD.
3. PLAY YOUR INSTRUMENTS.
on the two wiija miniLPs.
