bastard :-(
i couldn't afford it and no-one wanted to go with me.
Wooo
a thread about an event I'm actually going to, I'm well excited me
excited!!!
timetable's up on their website! a few clashes but that's okkk i can manage i think...
The train will be abducted by aliens
oh hi fwend!
will see you there. you got accomodation?
I don't think we should assume too much at this stage,
but 'MY HOTEL IS BOOKED.' is leading me to believe the answer is 'yes'.
oh battles
and harvey milk clash.
i'll go to harvey milk but it would have been nice to see battles. wankers. :(
I noticed this as well
I will probably see battles since I havn't seen them before, but hopefully I can catch the tail end of harvey milk's set
I am going to divide...
...a la David Dr Who Tennant and see both.
HAHA! I knew Diver i knew it
you love Dr WHO.
I would have enjoyed it more...
...had Lou not talked all the way through it.
I'm supposed to be volunteering at this
I didn't want to pay for a ticket
The Battles and Harvey Milk clash
is pretty annoying, but Harmonia & Gravetemple clashing is really, really frustrating!!! Can't wait though!!!!!!!
really?
balls on a stick :/
Anyone who's been before...
How easy is it to move between the different venues mid-set? Do they operate a one-in/one-out policy? Have they reached the Camber ATP stage of selling more tickets than the site can really accommodate?
yeah
this would be good to know. perhaps 15 minutes of battles if making transitions is quick!
been to custard factory before but i'm guessing it's quite different for an event like this.
Going by my experience in 2007...
It's very easy to move between venues IF you don't mind being stuck on the edge of the smaller venues as a result (they tend to get very full). I don't remember any one-in-one-outmanship last year, so if it did happen it wasn't bad.
I always think these threads
are going to be about someone declaring their love for me but they always result in disappointment.
i decided to go to indietracks instead
i think that's more "me". but i'm jealous cos my friends are going and i don't like being left out.
Should be good times
running schedule is here
http://www.capsule.org.uk/Coming_Up/209/111.aspx
No bad clashes either, which is cool. Thrones are going to completely own.
dunno...there are a couple o clashes
should be good though
hi!
Hows your new place? I'm really looking forward to this weekend, for me the Justice Yeldham - Thrones - Oxbow - Wooden Shjips - Harvey Milk run is totally unbeatable. Where abouts are you guys staying?
...
I've got my hotel booked, my ticket has been here for ages.
But I'm not sure whether to go by train or bus. travelling on a bus that far would fuck me over, but a train is probably more expensive, hmmm...
That said, I cant wait. The only downers are the Wooden Shjips/fuck buttons, Noxagt/oxbow and Harvey milk clashes.
Other than that it should work out great.
wooden shjips
has to win. fuck buttons are an on record band at best, from the videos i've seen of them it does look a little dull.
that being said i would see them if it didn't clash. annoyance.
weird how close it is. forgot about this festival because i bought my ticket so early.
^ wrong
Fuck Buttons are soooo much better live
If they stick closely to the schedule,
there should only be a small overlap between the end of Oxbow's set and the beginning of Noxagt's.
I'm not sure
where you're travelling from but national express from London is only £5-£6 each way and the coach station is 5 mins walk from the Custard Factory.
I'm DJing before Fuck Buttons and Battles so that's where I'll be.
dalek
woop
Ive got a Love
harvey milk over battles.
harvey milks last tour and battles play constantly in UK...heck, they live here.
hOORAH!
Hotel is booked, now to decide whether to drive or train it, hmm.
Anybody who's been before know what parking is like near the etap hotel?
Im gonna get to work on a supersonic spreadheeet!
oh gosh
i really should go. i live 5 minutes away from digbeth :( but no tickets and no friends means no go.
YAY!! I can't wait!!
Its my first time going (for shame Lucy!) but it looks to be a corker! Lets hope i manage to get some good shots!
You should go!
No ticket= Buy one!
No friends- make some!
I don't have any friends going but have been in touch with a few people of DiS and hoping to bump them when Im there!
or
bump into them!
Proper ready
for this now! Come buy records from us too.
POSTER SALE
Howdy all
I will be doing a poster stall Saturday and Sunday. I have stocked up on cardboard tubes. I have the usual "3 for £12" offer going on.
Have a look here:

And if there's anything specific anyone wants then PM me and I will make sure I bring copies.
Chris/Speeding Train
Anybody
who has been previously have any idea what time it all winds down / finishes on the Saturday night? I'm a Supersonic virgin (insert joke etc)..
check out the times...
...on the front page of this very site...
I have a feeling
you're going to take a lot of my money away from me...!
That wasn't aimed
at Diver, well, probs! But blindjoedeath...those posters are pweeetty.
do it!
I will gladly accept lots of your money. Nice Comets pics btw.
looking forward to it
Are we going to do some big gay meet-up thing where we all stand around looking at our shoes and mumbling about usernames?
I was thinking this myself
perhaps
an ice breaking game of soggy buscuit would be in order?
or perhaps even
soggy biscuit?
ewwwwww
yeah
but you would agree it would break the ice...
... i can't show my face at this now can i?
haha
wouldn't it be more worrying if somone was like "hey mac underscore daddy how about that game of soggy biscuit?"
i wrote out a different reply
but i want to protect my dignity if i happen to actually meet any of you guys so i will just say i would be pleasantly suprised.
Space 2...
Anyone know if this is the warehouse, or is it the bit under the railway arches? I imagine the outdoor stage is the pool because that's open friday, but with Battles playing the Space 2 bit it's not likely to be the kitchen is it?
Anyone know what i'm on about?
I expect it is...
...where Sunn0))) played last year. Under the arches.
Imagine Battles in the Kitchen tho... was stuffed enough for Fuck Buttons last year.
Oh man
Errors and Red Sparowes clashing with Earth. I don't understand how Earth are so low down on the bill there, thought they'd be as popular as Sunn O))) last time.
