LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
[a light ¬¬]
but she will never love a man cos love and pain go hand in hand :(((((
is one of the best songs i've heard this year. I'm so happy she's at Hop Farm. Laura Marling = <3
but you wouldnt happen to know what time she is on at Hop Farm would you?
or anyone else for that matter
I'm going for Neil Young but i'm looking forward to seeing Laura Marling too.
can't wait to see her at end of the road.
does she do full band live or solo?
or so i read in some interview somewhere. pretty sketchy details i'll admit
Mumford & Sons. Also great.
Mumford & Sons are the b. Marcus is who you wished you'd be when you got old.
most of it was solo, although she had the full band capability. a lot of her songs sound better without a full band i found, though when the mumford & sons guy joined in it was pretty special, they go quite well.
so yeah she's both solo/duet/full band. can't go wrong!
going to seeher next week! Or whenever July is.
...she played with one guy, who at one point was doing the following:
Right foot - kick drum
Left foot - kick tambourine
Hands - accordion
Mouth - backing vocals
all at the same time.
Between the two of them they filled the sound brilliantly.
That was Marcus Mumford, the front guy of Mumford & Sons! For the Londoners amongst us, go see said M&S at their EP launch on the 7th @ Luminaire. It's going to be simply tremendous.
I'll be doing some Mumford & Sons investigating then. He was quite her compliment.
what kind of ears do you have?:) WTF?!!
I'm a little bit in love with her - please don't tell my wife....
Ah - she's incredible...
of everyone else on this thread so far i think she's great and i adore her voice so so much.
here too. Marcus is like a human metronome. I like Mumford & Sons too but it's a shame they and specifically him won't be backing her after September when they go to do there own thing.
she'll be on that chennel M site... where they do the sessions, i saw her session being listed on Sky. I love her.
I think she's as good as anyone else who can pick up a guitar and write a nice song. Nothing too special IMO.
just throwing that out there, insinuations and all ¬¬
It was BEAUTIFUL :)
and I've plagued your mind."
Yep. Her album is GREAT.
