Im soooooooo fucking bored of you.
but the original poster has a point. The market has become saturated with stuff that sounds like the Mighty Boosh doing 'Future Sailors'.
on an emotional level its fine with me ie. James Yuill, Plastic Operator
doing my annual Glastonbury line-up flick through, where I go through all the bands I haven't heard of and visit their myspace for a listen.
Usually this brings up a few "interesting, I should go and watch them" type candidates.
Sadly this year its just hoards of dull electro. Most of them have a healthy line up of european festivals on their list as well and I just can't comprehend how they have managed to become popular enough to get such an awesome line up of shows to play.
No tunes, No innovation, No emotion, No interest.
On the upside though I did find Patrick Watson, who Im definitely going to check out.
I see your point, there IS an awful lot of dull/'quirky'/'dark' electropop around...
