or however you spell it. Young Machetes > Burn, Piano Island, Burn
Blood Brothers = Shitcore From Hell.
but BPIB has it all.. dynamism, energy, and every single tune is brilliant. i cant say that about the other three
if it was a match between the first five tracks BPIB would win, but it ain't
but it's certainly nowhere near the standards of their previous two.
I think they split at the right time, personally.
that I love and you dislike. TASTES, EH?
if they made another record and split, it would've utterly sullied the memory without a doubt.
Burn, Piano Island, Burn > Young Machetes > Crimes. I found Crimes to be most disappointing.
Young Machetes is in my eyes, their best album and perhaps the perfect one to bow out on. Burn will always have a special place in my heart though, as it was the album that actually made me think: "wow! Not all punk rock has to sound like the entire Epitaph label!"
except I don't know what Epitaph is.
I love 'this adultery is ripe' personally.
*waits to be shot down in flames*
All of their records are class, even the scrappy mess of hardcore that is Rumours Laid Waste. I love how they progressed from this, through to the slight experimentation on both 'This Adultery...' and 'March on Electric Children;' and then delivered the killer-punch in the form of 'Burn...'
