video links would be super... or at least a reason...
awaits a reply linking to a thread that has done this before...
I'd have to say Mike from Dead Kids. Because he's utterly, utterly charismatically mental.
Um...or Matt Bellamy. Cos he's bloody brilliant at just about everything, and still finds time to dance a merry jig while playing.
Iggy Pop !!
Pros: Great Engine (in football parlance).
Cons: Scares the shit out of me.
As for a frontwoman, you can't go to far wrong with Karen O.
be a con!? It's a pro!
Good call on Miss O though...
I've said this before on here, but i saw them play and during the last song he tried to hang himself from the lighting rig above the stage using his mic lead, and kept saying the only thing that would stop him doing it would be if the promoters paid them more money. Incredible.
the bouncers in the club stopped him from doing it, btw.
The singer from Joeyfat was/is (are they still going?) good, too.
He's lost his touch recently.
constantly tripping his nuts off everytime they play.
and possibly a bad trip when i saw them a few years ago in bournemouth..if the quivering lip and terrified glare was anything to go by.
he knows how to get a crowd going, that's fo sho.
The guy from JR Ewing was incredible when I saw them, he was bounding about like a mentalist.
wasn't expecting too much when I saw them, but she really manages to get the crowd going.
Tunde Adebimpe from Tv on the radio was brilliant when I saw them, also the one out of the blood arm is very good.
he draws you in.
James Dean Bradfield.
about JDB's charisma and onstage presence.
is probably the scariest frontman I have seen
but he's cool with it.
Offstage he's a completely different guy. Friendly, eloquent and pretty charming all told.
On stage he's a self fellating bundle of pent up rage and in your face hurt.
every time I've seen Biffy he's been awesome, he's like some demonic religious figure at times.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haWVIaslEOs I was there and as the sun went down Josh RULED.
Amazing man. Not even a messed up knee will stop him from jumping into a mosh pit to sing 'They Will Kill Us All'.
cant deny jagger
and although im pretty sure half of it is probably factually inaccurate it still confirms he was probably the best frontman we're ever likely to get.
i'm also gonna throw hendrix into the ring. i heard he wasnt bad.
but Jack White circa 2003, in his prime!
Terry Feathercap from Sultans Of Marrow.
He's amazing, given his disability.
you a small amount of love.
The dude from travis. Jimmy Somerville. H from Steps. Jimmy Nail. I've got loads more....
...yeah, he fukin rules. proper wigs out!!!
Yes he is very good. Probably has the best 'banter' of anyone I've seen. A natural showman.
all of The Futureheads.
My vote goes to Shingai Shoniwa.
Craig Finn of The Hold Steady.
This is why:
best i've seen recently. he's like a crazed preacher onstage, it's magical to watch.
