Although Chris does sound a little like Sting in it...
isn't. It's not a good song at all. And I can accept that both Kanye and Chris Martin's Coldplay know exactly what a "good song" is as both of them have put them out before.
This song however reminds me vividly of a big-haired wanker I went to college with who played piano like Jools Holland at school concerts. It's like they've sampled 12 seconds of him and just popped a bunch of words on the top.
The piano line is ridiculously infectious which makes one automatically assume it's a sample, which as far as i know, it isn't.
Also, Kanye's great so he outweighs Martin's knobbyness.
it is the same piano motif over and over and over and over again so it's a sample of sorts.
By the time the song finishes you have heard it about 60 times. Of course it is so catchy.
The vocal melodies are pish too.
Terroble, Terruble, Terrable, Terreble
Actually, It's not that bad.
just because of the weird yodelling thing Chris Martin does at the end.
just a boring pop song with lots of repetition for the standard Radio 1 listeners to enjoy on their 5th listen.
Texas and Method Man...
Redman and Xtina though, is it?
of coldplay - take that as you like - but the track was one of the worst on kanyes record
its catchy, but its cringe
as his collabration with Jay-Z.
Not nearly as brilliant as Flashing Lights - that deserves attention too.
then the glory, then can't tell me nothin. worst kanye album, still good enough.
