I'll probably see them on the Friday at Reading, and I just wondered if it is worth it?
FUCK YOU I WONT DO WHAT YOU TELL ME! at the carling reading weekend
what with the energy, the empowering politicism and the bad, bad grooves, i'd say it's one of the greatest teenage albums ever
dunno about nowadays
babyshambles?! I don't think so. RATM, obviously.
or is he on sunday?
i hope its friday
I think it will be awesome, the fist album is without shit a classic!
See below for da proof:
their stuff now. I think I'd have to bite my hand a couple of times seeing them in the flesh but there is always Timmy C. Timmy is the less wanky Flea bassist of choice.
at school back in 1993.
FUCK THE CISTERN!
I remember in 1991 when my mam tried to get me to clean the house up
"Vacuum? I won't do what you tell me!"
their debut album is constantly on in the Pizza Hut kitchens. Walking in with dirty plates, only to hear "they say jump, you say how high?" really gives you that angry feeling when you emerge from the kitchen with leftover ice-cream all over your trousers.
In conclusion: they're fucking awesome.
pour scorn on them to be honest. Whatever, they are awesome. A large section of my university dissertation concerned them and their lyrics.
its the reason i bought my ticket mainly.i want both the s/t and evil empire played in full.
on Evil Empire is great.
aged terribly but worth a look-in for nostalgia's sake.
RATM are/were/will-ever-be dogshit.
