Anyone got stage times? I need to calculate my departure from work with utmost precision.
I have plans to put in motion!
The Lionheart Brothers where on damn early... Then quite a gap untill JoFo. If that helps I wasn't looking at my watch and i'm guessing it's diffrent depeding on venues.
SOMEBODY HELP THIS PERSONS PLANS!
... in the process of explaining, someone happened to mention the stage times for tonight, that wouldn't go amiss ...
ringing the venue and finding out?
just email them on email@example.com
But as a point of principle, I feel somebody should be able to tell me.
Any takers? You can have it fo' free.
JoFo: extremely good.
Mae Shi: ABSOLUTELY FUCKING INCREDIBLY AMAZINGLY WICKEDLY SUPERCOOL.
and I'm off to see No Age and The Mae Shi amongst others on the weekend at Nasty Fest in Leeds oooooooo yeah
my thumb playing the drums they put in the crowd. :(
due to excessive sheet molestation.
Je ne regrette rien!
at the one I went to. I'm sure more madness will be had on the weekend with um.
that happend to a mate of mine too. I was alright playing base that didnt hurt
I might have photos of that 'thumb incident'!
How f**king wicked was it tonight!! Just f**king brilliant!
Although more people should have danced to the JoFO - we all know we wanted to but the damn shyness took over!! (i too was a victim to it) but I saw the toes a'tapping! :D
Such a good night!!
about seeing them on the weekend :) I haven't had so much fun at a gig in ages.
I'm really excited about Nasty Fest... and the Johnny Foreigner/Mae Shi tour in Sheffield. Good times!
I think a thread will have to be started on the morow to give it some love.
Really looking forward to No Age and finally seeing Pulled Apart By Horses. And DJing!
I will be checking out Pulled Apart By Hourses no doubt I haven't heard them before. You gonna be spinning some tunes then? I will come say hello sometime.
was doing some fine work in trying to make folk dance tho!
Absolutely brilliant show to get my through the post atp tiredness slump, anyone less energetic or entertaining and i'd have had to go home and sleep.
Look forward to the photos.
but by the time i had willing participants it was their last song and you can't dance that well to Absolute Balance. still great fun though!
and The Mae Shi = :D :D :D
i too am looking forward to those photos. i bet i look like an idiot child who has been given a drumstick and gets overexcited in my cymbal-playing frenzy.
i let DanielKelly keep the drumstick because he said he had never got one before, and i have 2 so fair enough
managed to see them last night, and despite the show being quite undersubscribed, they were most entertaining.
Banter was impeccable. Also, i ended up on stage with them for the last song looking like a dweeb - which is always a plus.
