(took me a while to figure out you meant This Town Needs Guns!)
DID YOU SEE THEM LIVE OR SOMAT? YEAH?
FUCK OFF CAP LOCK!!!! thankyou
I just found their ep which unbelievably I haven't listened to until now and WOW!
Pls pls pls could you (Jimmy) fix it for me to see Tubelord, JoFo and Dinosaur Pile-Up all touring together?
JoFo and Dananananaykroyd too! What a night that would be, it's in London though!
and I know peoples in and around London.
you can meet people from the internet, such as me! :D
People from the internets aren't real.
you should buy it!
the first one is so good, buy it for a pound and the new one is amazing stuff.
live - they are even better. i love tubelord.
but, I've been buying too many records lately and just forgot I had it!
is that the 7" and CDR of Feed Me A Box Full Of Words? thats ace.
maybe ask Big Scary Monsters. Tublord are ace live really good. I'm also seeing JoFo on wednesday night and missed Dino Pile up cos I was ill the other day when they played liveat leeds... but two out of three aint bad.
I saw Jimm'el fix it joggin in scarboro once he looked all rubbery.
Through a t-shirt, does anyone know where I can get one?!
I got bored! sorry!
V V V V V V OVERRATED
of river dance face and cross the lord of the out and then replace with Tube at the front.... then but Tubelords records and see them live lots untill they make tshirts.
I had a dream last night and I saw a fat kid wearing a yellow Tubelord shirt which looked awesome. So I'm just in the middle of sorting the design now and will have them printed asap. I'll post on here when they're up online to order
I have about 2 copies here, the band have 3 and there are something like 40 out in the shops... Then that's it! And there are no plans for the vinyl to be re-pressed. Just thought I'd say
Oh and new single in August, and there are currently 80 live dates planned for June, July and August, with more still to be confirmed. So anyone who hasn't seen them yet will have no excuse soon!
i have BSM055 on mine, is that the 55th one or something else?
also, i like your handwriting on the note that accompanied "50 not out" :D
They're not numbered, BSM055 is the catalogue number. I think the next single will be handnumbered (and screen printed) though. That's the plan, at least.
thank you very much on the excelent and fast service ;)
the 50 not out CD is ace too.
I wouldn't put it in my mouth.
i left the room after 2 songs
obviously i'm going to say you should have stuck around.
everyone i've taken to see them live has said they're great live, which i totally echo.
They were a little ropey before but are getting better all the time. And they've only been on one tour so far, so are still very new in that respect. Give them another chance this summer, unless you hate the recordings too, in which case it might not be worth it!
i got the 4 track demo cd thats in multicoloured selotaped pieces of paper a while ago. quite liked the 4 songs off that. heard the new songs and wasn't very keen. went to see them play with BEAK in leeds a couple of months ago and thought they sounded like Biffy Clyro at their worst, sung by a whiney hamster.
see them on friday they're playing about 50 minutes away, it's just getting back :[
Just can't get past them. It's him out of A at his worst.
Would people stop saying bad things about Tubelord and hurry up and realise their genius!
I ordered a demo of theirs a couple weeks ago and didn't have time to listen to it before I went to a house party. I whapped it on at like 11 and some cunt knicked it.
for me to start liking them but i think they're awesome now!
kev- were they originally meant a proper BSM band? i thought they were originally just on the meet and greet singles label thing...
played with them in Nottingham and they were ace..much noise is made by only 3 little people. Half man half amazing is all good.
Their first single was a Meet & Greet release with Popular Records in Ireland, but the next one is pure BSM. They're also putting out a split 7" with Tellison in August (Night Of The Pencils), which will be on Gravity DIP.
Keep it up!
How are the t-shirts coming?! :D
Can I design you a tshirt?
I is a freelance graphic designer innit.
The design's sorted and will be off for printing today or tomorrow.
And yeah, email me some of your work. firstname.lastname@example.org - I don't think we'll need another t-shirt design for a bit but there are always flyers and things which need doing.
