Anyone there, or are you all keeping your promise not to blog, scrobble or post about it anywhere?
keeping with the promise
was left peter beardsley.
You're not allowed to write about it? Did something go wrong? Did they blow the roof off killing all inside? Did someone shit themselves?
caught on a hairclip, and they got a nasty graze, and then someones cardigan got a bit pulled due to incorrect badge placement and a bad time was had by all
sad times indeed
but someone wrote a poem about it in a zine and photocopied me a copy of it this morning, and sent it in the post along with a friendship bracelet and some glitter and a handwritten note listing their top ten favourite vaselines songs
but that is surprisingly close to what did actually happen
lets leave it at that
keep the promise
i shouted that out :)
i was standing/dancing a couple of places to your left. i also did the Sweet Dreams dance at the end.
yeah recognise you from prof pic - thank god other people were doing the sweet dreams dance aswell
THe coewd made no such promise. I believe it was the band who did...
But was a great gig nanyway, miles better than support for Les Savy
To the lady photographer, hope your camera is ok. I tried to pick it up for you, being chivalrous, but you were a little faster.
did you have a juice box?
you bastards. i need to know :(
can someone please just post what happened under a pseudonym?
los camps, lovvers & sky larkin all played some music. people enjoyed it, missed the last tube and went home.
Unless i'm just saying that to keep everyone who didn't go in the dark...
he is actually Jim Davidson.
If this happens on Sunday, I'll die.
A high powered Jim Davidson would be the end of us all
Who were meant to report the gig for a website called Connect Music or something (my memory is sketchy) but didn't turn up until after it finished. They asked me and my friend for a synopsis of what happened so they could make up the review.
If they happen to be reading this...
Shame on you!
You knew what I meant.
I LOVED IT! Really wicked gig! Shots up soon...sadly they're not so good but still - i had fun!
And thank you zahidf for trying to pick up my camera! That poor thing gets battered! :) I was dancing a bit too much to realise the strap had come undone! Ooops...
lucee, my lens nearly died on sat when it went into a germans head. She was ok, as was lens. Panic did breifly set in.
Then someone threw a pint of beer and it got quite wet.
I was just behind you (and zahidf and alcxxk), hopefully your shots will still be a lot better than my wobbly camera phone ones!
well watch this space kidz - DiS should be running them in a news/review piece. Then you can let me know...!
*quakes in tiny boots*
Rich - thats horrible news about the lens! My flash was acting up last night as well... maybe its Los Campesinos! They bewitch the equipment.. hope its all good now??
yours are a tad better. By which i mean, really really good.
Your tiny boots remain safe for now.
where underpangs can see them. I can't see them *sobs*.
The lens lives on! I'm having to stay away from ebay at the moment, otherwise i'll be sending money to hongkong for a wide angle. mm wide angle.
tried to blag an interview as well when the band were just coming off stage
we're not supposed to talk about it.
it was fun.
