I GOT THAT ANGURT!
YOU GOT THAT ANGURT!
WE GOT THAT ANGURT!
The band RATM wished they were.
I remember watching Downset at Reading in about 1996.
I've still got a copy of Do We Speak a Dead Language? knocking about somewhere.
There were so many generic rapcore bands about in the mid 90s, remember Clawfinger and Senser?
Actually Senser predate RATM.
...hostility towards the opposition.
It's funny, I got my old copy of their first album out just last week for a nostalgia trip. Pretty dated but still pretty decent.
Some of my friends saw them supporting Rammstein a few years ago. Amazingly, I've not heard of Senser.
OOOH WWEEEE OOOH WEEEE
The British RATM, but, they formed before RATM did.....this footage from Glastonbury 1994 is pretty decent, it was my first festival!
singer look really tiny? The squealing guitar is getting right on my nerves.
This may be a better example....
Seemed amazing when I was 14 anyway!
deserve more retro love in my book.
Stacked Up was (and is still) really good I think.
i could almost cry with nostalgia watching that. 2nd ever Glasto. Orbital was one of the best things I've ever seen.
you're the real níger!!!!
i had their first two albems, they were quality bad!
i never got into senser, though i really should have, i remember them being big circa '94
They soundtracked seemingly every issue of 411 Skateboarding Video Magazine between 1994 and 1997!
i can't believe i didn't start this thread!!!
can't prostitutionalize me!!!!
GOT ME DOWN! DOWNSET AT THE BOTTOM!
no more freedom in a cage!!!!
soooo good live. i'm happy someone mentioned them here. (=
& yes, ratm wish they were downset; oddly, last time i saw downset, they covered a song from ratm's singer's first band. it was amazing.
noone said anything about the bodycount lyrics i posted in the gansta gansta thread earlier, -=sigh=-
Oh, Body Count.
suicidal tendencies were doing that way before ice-t decided to do something different.
FLORENCE TO NORMANDY!
were my first ever band I saw live due to them supporting Pantera in Sept 1994.
didn't really pay downset much attention after that. I remember the singer wearing a basketball top.
back in 94/95. The union ents section was split into two rooms. Downset sere playing in one room whilst some diso went on in the other as far as I can remember. It was a great gig - only a handful of people in attendance so the 'crowd' had to work together and move around to catch stage divers and crowd surfers. Good times.
