Rock album of the year for me so far...
and still won't get any reply...
I'm amazing... ( sort of... )
I have 'Sugar' on repeat just now !
sounded meaty - but really album of the year? Kindly elaborate...
And it's ROCK album of the year !
Listen to more :
My favourite albums of the year are Songdog, Last Harbour and the Sleeping Years so far...
they're doing a radio 1 session later this month as well, an STA double header with Alan MX (www.myspace.com/alanmx) - should be fun!
Please remind me about this
album. I'm really looking forward to seeing them again.
Are the stories about them signing to Atlantic true? If so, what does that mean for the future of Jetplane Landing?
doesn't affect jetplane - they're still with STA!
Let's hope they don't end up another band on the major label scrapheap in a couple of years. They deserve a lot better than that.
I'm still crossing fingers for JPL to tour 'Backlash Cop' at some point too but I guess that Cahir's gonna be a busy boy.

I've only recently took it out of the stereo for some iPod action.
not really, though.
but me-no-likey. At all. It's terrible.
I figured better he knows I read his threads than just ignore them.
And I'm not really all that nice. *shrugs*
Well here's the band responsible for the real rock album of the year so far (possibly): http://www.myspace.com/terribletwos
He likes Fighting Wi... Oh wait.
I usually believe people with good taste...
They don't sound anything like The Datsuns.
but wouldn't go that far maybe... amazing how you found an unknown punk band from Ann Arbor MI... I dunno why myspace still boggles my mind, but it does.
They reviewed their album on Cokemachineglow. Said it was the future of rock and roll then gave it 84%, so I thought they were worth checking out. I've only listened to the track on their MySpace a couple of times each so far and they sound good, but I was only regurgitating CMG's opinion really.
I myspaced Rykarda Parasol and told her you told me about her...she was so thrilled she said she's likely gonna be moving to Paris. Now how "nice" am I???! ;)
reformed criminal !
Great riffs and hooks, 'Everyone Needs A Nemesis' is superb on so many levels.
Still wish Jetplane Landing would get their act together though.
Go back to the ZiC/OLaS style?
but I want more OLaS, it's one of my favourite albums. I did enjoy the last one though, just not what I was expecting/hoping for.
i haven't seen them live for three years....pretty impressive stuff though...whichever ep i have of theirs is totally epic.
