is anyone elses not scrobbling? AGH
...when i'm at Uni.
It's one of the things i look forward to most when i return home, seeing my weekly chart.
Sad, but true.
are most likely causing that problem at uni, find out what the place's proxy settings are, and stick them in the Connections bit under Preferences...
thank you! :D
all scrobbling away...
when they use last.fm and itunes?
i keep getting some error message about filtering out spam or something and that's why it doesn't scrobble certain songs. any idea what that means?
if you are scrobbling from more than one place. Say you played tracks on your PC then submitted a bunch of songs from your mp3 player that had timestamps earlier than what last.fm sees as your last track, then it sees it as spam. I probably haven't explained that very well.
that made perfect sense, actually. i was using both my ipod and itunes and i guess it "confused" last.fm!
Sometimes windows media player decides to disable the last.fm plug in.
will it ever cease to give me problems?!
but when i log off it clocks up everything ive listened to
I can't get mine to work.
Just use iSproggler (http://www.last.fm/group/iSproggler) and if last.fm ever asks if you want to scrobble iPod tracks, check that iSproggler has them already scrobbled (hover over the tray icon) and if so, decline.
The last.fm programme is notoriously unreliable when it come to iPods. iSproggler works pretty much hitch-free. Remember to sync before you listen to songs on iTunes though, otherwise they won't scrobble. In this case you might be able to use the last.fm plugin to scrobble your tracks.
Did that make sense? Probably not.
