The internets is refusing to tell me.
its tiny - about 200? I've played there once to about 13 people. I've seen Radiohead there and Suede and erm Catatonia and Kenickie and erm Fluffy. Its great when its rammed, depressing when its not.
about the same as the croft in bristol
im going 100 tops
but dont take my word for it..
but that 'day' was about 1992-1998 in terms of regular use. The venue not the drug that is. I didn't like playing there however.
I like it, it's great
They had a new stage and PA and lights put in last year which has really improved it, and a large screen back by the bar so that you can see what's happening on stage even if you're right at the back. Like a lot of live venues at the moment it can have it's quiet nights, but we did the Los Campesinos show the other week and that was packed and had such a good atmosphere.
I think they ram it full on big nights though. There were absolutely tons of people for Los Campesinos, maybe 250?
we were packed in like sardines
true. The band specifically asked to play for us, even though it was only about half the size of other venues on the tour, as it was the start of their tour, and they had been coming to our shows for years and wanted to kick it off there.
Gareth explained the whole mentality to me. His gran was there ha! Venues should be rammed to the gills, guarantees atmosphere!
About 2 litres, but it depends how much they've eaten beforehand.
