DIG! "special edition" DVD
Can't believe how crap this is. This has been in the pipeline for about 18 months. It finally came out yesterday, and i was in the shop today.....how disappointing. I thought this was going to be a 2-disc special edition with the extra stuff the yanks got years ago. Commentaries etc. However, the only difference between this and the old edition is that it has a silver cover and a few deleted scenes!

...i was holding out for this too. I actually just sold my old copy on ebay so i could upgrade to this one. Really disappointed with Tartan (the DVD company). Unless i have missed something and there is another version i haven't seen yet

it is more worthwhile importing the US one instead of this??
I bought the US one some months ago cos I knew the UK release was a long way away.
Im watching the it now with commentaries by Joel and Matt et al for the first time and its pretty funny. But yes, the deleted scenes are terrible considering that they were meant to have culled about 100 hours worth of footage.

Yeah, i would get the US one. Which is what i would do if i had a region-free DVD player. In the meantime, i urge everybody to bombard Tartan DVD company with angry e-mails!

I opened this and nearly cried when I only saw one disc and "14 deleted scenes". The US version has like...an entire film's worth of extra stuff, right? UGH. Fucking Tartan... Cunts.

Actually the deleted scenes are quite good, but still, if there's at least an entire other movie of extra scenes in this quality, then fucking hand it over!
