Mine is the classic AC/DC white on black logo.
I also once had a really nice Rocket From the Crypt bowling shirt.
with 'See you in the next life' in purple type on the front.
why i am yet to own one is a complete mystery
bug-eyed caricatures of the band on the front and "wuh wuh wuh" in pink on the back (which I like to think is the theremin part of "race for the prize" in type)
shrunk a bit sadly, or i've grown...
Big Business one
in blue and yellow.
I really wanna get it again, but maybe in green.
I always think the 'Pavement ist rad' wizard Tshirt looks cool, too.
Rival Schools tees, I was checking them out half an hour ago...they still have a very well stocked merch shop if you google rival school merch
i used to have the 'pavement ist rad' T. Sadly it disintegrated
Got the lyrics for Dulcinea on it, and a rather scene middle-century depiction of a man in armour with a big sword being attacked by bats, but not in a shit way.
The BSP ones are ace.
shirt by PWEI. Particularly the Pepsi rip-off one that got them into bother.
Sample It, Loop It, Fuck It and Eat It.
you've got to love those sentiments....
because it is pretty much unreadable and looks so stupid
becase I wear it quite alot and it would be even more embarrassing than it already is if it was
My mars volta one with the golden head
The xiu xiu one with freddy mercury on it
Its quite a journey
That but in white with blue writing.
is fucking AMAZING
i was supposed to get that off someone in brighton, but i havent paid her/seen her in ages to get it! its rad though.
"Blur: Are shite" t shirts are legendary and I want one but cant find one anywhere
that every bastard in the world wears.
I lie, to be honest I'm not sure but it's a toss up between my red Hendrix shirt or my black and white Aphex Twin one I bought from warp.com
pretty rare now, from 1997 i think. sadly mine is wearing very thin :(
black flag 'four bars' t-shirt
the national 'tree' t-shirt
justin timberlake 'futuresex/lovesounds' tour t-shirt
its one of my favourites too
it has a massive hole in the armpit, but i carry on wearing it like the crazy mofo that i am
blue Modern Lovers t-shirt. It's really nice fit too.
or Weezers 'if it's too loud, turn it down'.
drawn by adrian tomine, or my weerez one
and probably unhealthy obsession with band t-shirts.
current top 5 faves:
1. neil young black 2008 tour shirt
2. the replacements, vintage white tour shirt
3. sonic youth orange puppet on green shirt with sleeveprint 'dirty'
4. weezer 'rockin the bitches' orange on brown
5. charles bukowski, white on black.
this will change by next week.
i am ill.
and, worst luck, i've no idea where it came from as it was a 'mates club together' type birthday gift...which hints at expensiveness i suppose..
Favourite merchandise would be my Weezer hooded top:
Limp Wrist- Fags Hate God one
my Washing Machine shirt
As seen in my profile pic. The irony is, I actually wanted a blue one but they didn't have any left in my size, and since it was free (their frontman gave it to me because I'm great), I couldn't really say I didn't want one at all, so I took a green one and I was kind of sad, but now it's my favourite t-shirt and I wear it nearly every day!
purple with the 'hello tiger' single design.
'Sunny Side Up' Pavement shirt, and my Fucking Champs one with some weird guy holding a ball of light.
the black flag police story t-shirt?
Or failing that, my replica iron maiden football shirt, for the sheer bravado of it.
with a friendly looking mastodon on it holding a mastodon flag in its mouth
Merciful Release t-shirt, original head on pentagram design, not the crap updated version. faded to buggery through intense wearing then washing. cotton reduced to the softness of tissure paper through wear and tear.... and my The Cult Electric t-shirt.
and my Some Girls one:
Done in a very kitch horror movie style with the phrase 'Beware or be aware'
Pearl Jam t-shirts =D
'when do we start fighting'
life at these speeds winter(?) tour 2005.
...which, with the elongated skull, makes them look like a fuck-off heavy metal band!!
Fave tshirts when I were a lad:
PWEI : Pepsi symbol
Carter the Unstoppable Sex machine: 30 something
Therapy?: Have a nice Day (other side: In Hell!)
And I'm now also rather partial to the Clash tshirt with the skull and crossbones - cannae whack it!
My least favourite one was an Unkle John and Whitelock tshirt which had all these legs in a triangle and looked rather pagan-esque.....but it was given to me after the band split in a birthay present so it gets an airing occasionally to make my friend happy.
an early zutons shirt which is v cool. tho people sometimes think im zorro.
i have a mars volta shirt which was perhaps an unfortunate buy because i cant wear it without people thinking that im a freak or someone who's about to kidnap some kiddies and drive off a cliff with them.
it has the vulture man holding a naked bloke by a knife through his foot with 'The Mars Volta' scribbled underneath it in a font that might as well be wingdings or somehting.
also, i have a rage shirt with che on it, and i get really paranoid that people will be looking at me and judging me just cos its got che on it. stupid che.
one ive seen (might i add) is the mistys big adventure one - red with all the blue hands on it.
With this on the front:
And a George Orwell quote on the back:
"The quickest way of ending a war is to lose it."
Or my yellow Cursive plane one.
I really want to get hold of a good Mogwai one. And try and get a Husker Du one as well.
because it doesn't really say anywhere that its a Shins shirt
Pissed Jeans - Barber Owl tee
One was a blue Belle & Sebastian one. There other was a breaks one with the lyrics to Hi How Are You on it :o(
my x-ray spex tshirt http://shop.fifthcolumnclassics.co.uk/ekmps/shops/fifthcolumn/images/xr001t.jpg
or my sonic youth one which just says sonic youth on the front with a cross and youth against fascism on the back and has been sewn back together after my old housemate literally tore it off my back.
