I'm trying to book a tour for Jayetal, a live electronica 2 piece who are well established in Hampshire and small festivals in the south. Their debut tour is taking in support slots with HEALTH and Tired Irie. Good gigs is more important than money.
Mon 28th April: Portsmouth, The Nell Gwynne
Tues 29th April: ??
Wed 30th April: Oxford, The Wheatsheaf, supporting HEALTH
Thur 1st May: Southampton, Talking Heads supporting Tired Irie
Fri 2nd May: Bournemouth, The Gander
Sat 3rd May: Winchester, The Railway
Any dates around this time would be ace.
info about them:
After huge success in 2007, with the launch of their long awaited debut album ‘Where No City Lights’ and finishing the year with a stellar perfomance at the Brave New Music Festival (HUH) in Estonia, Jayetal now prepare for a UK spring tour in 2008 sandwiched by festival appearances in Estonia & the UK.
Jayetal are a 2-piece electronica act, armed quite simply: one drum kit, one electric guitar and one computer. The Jayetal sound is instantly recognisable with Al’s stunning soundscapes against James’s vigorous drumming resulting in a wonderful unity of beauty and power. Jayetal’s sets are epic; journeys moving from delicate ambience to fist pumping euphoria – it’s incredible that 2 people produce this sound.
Jayetal have been been playing since 2002 gigging extensively around the South Coast of England, building their already very dedicated fan base. Jayetal have also supported the likes of Three More Shallows, iLIKETRAINS, DJ Rubbish, The Chap, SJ Esau and Yndi Halda.
