anyone know any decent promotors?

fistyness [Edit] [Delete] 18 replies 15:54, 10 March '08

and what i mean by 'decent' is that they actually put on good gigs i.e they dont just book anyone who says they can bring 30 mates to a gig, and generally try and make line up of bands work. we play instrumental post rock/noisy/doom/funk kinda stuff. were looking to play gigs outside of manchester so anywhere except there really. anyone any suggestions? i thought id post on here as its difficult to tell if a promotor is any good without some recomendations from a band whos played gigs for them before

    • no but..

I do know how to spell promoter.

      hairyboy @Emmi_London_Girl | 10 Mar '08, 17:53 | X
      • haha

im clueless with spelling, always been a problem! 99% of the time i know how to spell things but a combination of my lazyness and inaccurate typing/checking spelling leads to many a spelling error

  • Good luck...

    promoters think money, not passion.

    brothelkid | 10 Mar '08, 18:28 | X
    • not always

thats why i started this thread as im tired of those kind of promoters. theres quite a few decent promoters in manchester at the minute that i know of who arnt in it for the money so im hoping thats the case elsewhere
