smacks of 'oh.'
pretty much only two bands i'd want to see, three at a push, maybe four.
on different days.
(but i can't believe they are playing such a lame show)
You Me At Six
The rest is totally 100% meh.
well they would certainly if they had two guitarists, and it was at a smaller venue, but still..
Rubbish line up
on that lame, LAME bill are Glassjaw and Finch (if they only play post-What It Is To Burn material)
but not in a serious way. Just a fun way.
you have functioning ears, sarkyfox
are well worth seeing in addition to Glassjaw
RUBBISH. I wanted to go last year but couldn't afford it, it had a bloody great line-up.
to a NFG show expecting anything more than dreadful?
the rest was pretty dull*
*only because I missed the day that J.E.W. played.
i went to the birmingham on the sunday just to see brand new and they blew me away.2 drummers and 10 minute long welcome to bangkok.amazinggggggg
but every time i've had tickets for them before (totalling 5 times) they've cancelled.
The only thing i got to see was Head Automatica, which i wish had been cancelled instead.
I actually bought a Head Automatica ticket though but slept in for it!!
Im going to the first London date just to see Finch, was considering staying for Glassjaw decided to wait for their own tour because I couldn't bare two nights of emo rubbish!!
i wouldn't worry about sleeping in for that H.A. show - if it was the one at Glasgow Garage, it wasn't much to write home about. Apart from 'I Shot William H. Macy'
went to the HA gig, they weren't overly impressed.
you MUST know of glassjaw at least.i understand if you havent actually heard any of their songs but you must know of them?
but glassjaw are a notch above the other bands on that line up for me, and if you've not heard them then you should at least try.
With my fingers crossed for a 'Grey Matter' duet. Four Year Strong are wicked good too. But i'm still not going.
Although You, Me At Six are some of my best friends so I might go just to support them, however cliche and annoying they are it's bloody impressive that they're on the bill.
but not as bad as "My American Heart".
if I'd heard of a band called 'TBC' that were playing Give It A Name...
Of course. Give me some credit.
Did someone really ask about a band called TBC? That's even funnier - and stupider - than someone I know who nearly bought tickets to see G4 because he wanted to see Joe Satriani.
And yeah it really did happen, depressing isn't it.
will probably* get lynched.
and I only really know them and Paramore, is there anyone else worth seeing on that day? (I can't be bothered sitting listening through loads of rubbishy emo bands!)
the blackout anyone?
