Stereolab - Brit-poppy. Vague Electro. Saint Etienne-ish. Probably quite dated.
Daphne and Celeste with indie cred
Los Campesinos - are Spanish.
Los Campesinos De Michocan
I'm not cause I already love that band.
Mahavishnu Orchestra meet Parliament meet Aphex Twin in a seminar on the Keppler effect
Probably lad-rock. Probably think they're being edgy by being a bit dancey. Probably as awful as their moniker.
Someone left an amp on by mistake. Someone else heard it and told yet another someone that they liked the sound. For a joke. Third person didn't realise it was a joke, agreed out of fear of being thought uncool and "not getting it". Told lots more similar people. Emperor streakings reported at all-time high.
Belle & Sebastian, but darker. Don't know why I think this really, just always have...
Der Der Der DEERRRR *screams something about goats* DERRR-DERRR-DERRR-DERRR-DERRRRRRRRR
"hang on there, mr masked singer, we're aiming at 12-year -olds, shouldn't we make this a bit catchier and, y'know, more tuneful"
"don't worry, the kids will like anything that sounds like it'll piss their parents off"

Counting Crows, but even duller and with an Australian accent.
Broken Social Scene without the good bits.
saves me the effort of listening to a band.
average off-beat pop-punk - possibly punk-funk - loved because no-one knew who they were. Now getting famous and well-liked cos they are essentially quite poppy. And foalsy. People who used to like them will dismiss the next album as NME trash.
Really good and my kind of thing, but I'll put off listening in case they're not all that.
I thought they were gonna be Dilliger Escape Plannish... and they weren't. They's just boring pop.
They're a little Dillinger-ish now.
