Is it just "ta" but shouted, or is it an abbreviation for something?
And the word "tarmac" comes from the fact that the guy who invented it was called Mac, and when people realised the marvellousness of the innovation, they all shouted "Ta, Mac!". Exciting!
thank you, I feel suitably ridiculed now. :D
but "a lot" is 2 words. It was about arranging an interview with a band. The person I was emailing worked for their PR company.
Have you been emailing Tori Amos?
Probably the most likely option. Unless infact it was Tori Amos.
Does not compute :(
it was meant to be eta
as in cheers. isn't it really obvious dude?x
That's just rude :(
...probably not though.
and they mean 'bye for now'
Ta-taa means bye. Ta on its own means thanks. This is the rules.
