Absolution and origin are fighting to the death though.

Personally I don't really get the comparisons to Radiohead... lazy journalism maybe?

Yeah the rest of hullabaloo was rubbish but the live album was brilliant.

I think Origin just edges aboslution out, purely because its more experimental and less poppy. And perhaps because it was my first muse album.

I think the Radiohead comparisons were justified for most of Showbiz and parts of Origin. But Absolution sounds nothing like Radiohead.

Bands this 'derivative' can't make great albums.

Yeah really, I think they have a few good songs, but their albums are almost unlistenable. They always try to be massive and dramatic but just end up being boring and skipable, and his voice is really grating, especially the way he inhales before every line. I find it pretty much impossible to listen to a muse album all the way through.

and its unlikely they ever will....
