possibly the funniest thing ive ever seen
It's addictive :(
But yeah, they're horrid. They're taking "lad rock" to a dangerous new direction: "lads" in glasgow all carry knives and beat people up for no reason. It's ridiculous.
I love how he was in jail for 100-odd days for "shootin' someone". Probably with an air rifle.
And plus, his accent is hardly "working class" for glasgow.
"a big fight got organised
but then one of our friends died"
but yes, that chorus is unfortunately catchy.
was one of my fav lines
newer stuff is miles away from that.
They sound like boys from Newton Mearns trying to speak like neds.
They're also horribly bad. But that is obvious.
i went to school in newton mearns and they all sound exactly like that. it's pretty hilaruous.
i love how the lead singer is trying really hard to make everything he says sound so natural, but it's actually really rehearsed. and how he said "i was in the jail for shooting a guy" so casually.
i thought it was just made up for my conveyancing assignments :S
some crap drama students trying to adapt a long lost rubbish Irvine Welsh novel? Either that or its acctualy true and Lad rocks gone to far.
Urbnri.... but they have fuckin style... the end shot of the tracksuited hoody guy playing the dullest guitar part in the wolrd on the roof is moving and epic hehe
it wasnt for that bit at 3:33 it wouldnt be half as bad..
they're totally shite and utter morons but at least they're giving it a good shot and getting people talking so fair enough. Also, Misspent Youth has elements of early Nirvana. But yeah, epic lulz all round.
tricky to get my head round how utterly bloody awful they are.lyrically i dont think i've ever heard stuff as bad as this.
on a more positive note its fucking hilarious.
other than being hooligans.
I remember playing pay-to-play gigs with my band when I was 13 and seeing multitudinous oasis rip-off bands, and even then thinking "god they're shite"
I haven't seen an interview, review or even a mention of them anywhere.
'the others' and dominic masters, all is forgiven
they remind me of a less funny young offenders institute...remember them?
I love the guy's accent changing for every song.
missed it the first time around and it's been taken off Youtube.
Dear oh dear.
