emusic and buying cds
I don't download any albums, and only the odd free song here and there to try and see what new bands sound like. I think I like buying cds too much, to not have a physical product too (especially if it has some lovely packaging).
Anyway. I have recently been tempted to sign up with emusic, as they have just released/uploaded an exclusive Breathe Owl Breathe ep, whom I love. But annoyingly, they don't seem to take Switch/Maestro as a card payment, so I won't be signing up any time soon.
So, the point of this thread is perhaps more to those of you who still buy cds and use emusic. When do you use emusic instead of buying cds? Or when cds over emusic? Or some kind of question. I can kind of see it as being a bit useful in hearing stuff, although £8.99 a month almost seems a bit too much for my purposes, as I'd probably want to buy the cd of any of the albums I like. I'm mainly interested in the people who still buy cds frequently also, as I don't yet see myself becoming a music downloader only/mainly.
