Relationship of Command is fantastic.
That's a sackfull of ace as well/
upon buying Justice 2x12"
198d > most songs
Also you can sing 'Mega-Lolz' along to the chorus of 300Mhz, though those aren't actually the words.
i didn't notice this ever until you pointed it out
whispered in the ear 300 MEGA LOLZ, MEGA LOLZ :D
on in/casino/out where Cedric sings 'puts me in a stupor' but I always here it as 'frosty the snowman' and they have another song that sounds like he's singing 'we're digging with shovels' not sure what he's actually saying though
and so on and so forth
digging with shovels one? that's hurting my head, i need to know!
on a related note - initiation is such a fantastic song.
of Command, I'll have to listen to in order to find out though and sadly I am at work still.
quite right sir, quite right
I've just listened to ROC and I feel inspired some new songs when I get in
and el gran orgo!
but they have a few EPs too, which are also stunning.
is criminally underrated.
Relationship and In Casino Out.
Then a bundle of EPs... el Gran Orgo, Vaya, the Extracurriculur split thing...
I'm forgetting something aren't I?
relationship of command
vaya and el gran orgo are ep's
I feel I may have missed something though
very different, weird production.
it sounds a lot more rough and this is mainly due to the pretty terrible production. it is very good though, quite similar to acrobatic tenement.
a band called sunshine
avoid that though
Acrobatic Tenement is the first. bit rough sounding and not that intense. shows promise though but only worth getting after the rest.
then el gran orgo (i think, someone correct me if i am wrong). up on the intensity scale, better songs, better produced. worth getting. hard to find though.
in/casino/out - 2nd full length. brilliant. get it.
vaya - another ep. also fab. worth seeking out.
as ATDI were pretty unique, for some reason my mind's gone blank..
they were on 'indefinate hiatus', I think Cedric and Omar were a bit bored or summart.
like a stripped down more straight ahead Jehu
where did all the good bands go.. I can remember getting into ATDI, Trail of Dead and the Icarus Line within a few months.
Now it's all sminky pinky guitars and songs about hair products by bohemian chumps.*
*may be a generalisation
them but then I used to love stuff like Metallica. I can't remember what it was that turned me, possibly listening to the brilliance of 'invalid litter dept' I then went back and listened to everything they did and realised what a fool I had been and cursed myself for not being able to ever see them play live. such is life.
so not really the same, except for the not seeing them live bit. I want that bit.
but it was literally the best thing ever. I remember them playing Chanbara.
I bought Relationship Of Command aswell.
