may 2008 > any other month EVER
Every indie band in the world seems to playing in London throughout May, but they're all together at ATP (EITS especially), which is looking like a magnificent event already.
So in conclusion, not sure I could be bothered going to all of the individual gigs as well.
wegottickets. they should be up on there soonish.
ill wait for wegottickets to go up. its not on seetix either atm. up on gigantic though
when they do, i wants me some of this pie.
about a market economy.
this clashes with No Age and Ex Models. Decisions decisions
go to this and then skidaddle up to manchester on the 16th..
Glad to help!
clashes with the black lips. and i have an exam the next day, might have to go to this one though.
weekend to March 21st at the Garage due to scheduling issues and it being a crazy busy week for us, so yes no clash with this gig.
Liars good, Fuck Buttons ok, Battles atrocious. Pass.
has always been perfect whenever i've been there

sunset rubdown is the same night...AC lose.

*turns off clicheometer
at the ICA. That lot are all playing ATP again aren't they?
at explosions, fb's at pitchfork
i'm going for liars alone, not to mention battles :D
Reasons to go:
A)You can't have too much Fuck Buttons
B)Fuck Buttons are playing Pitchfork, and I've only got tickets to EITS
Reasons not to go:
A)The Astoria is the seventh circle of hell
B) With dreadful sound (although it's not quite so bad in the bar area behind the sound booth, but you can't actually see the bands from there).
On balance, I think not. I'll catch the Fuck Buttons again somewhere else. And for Battles especially, you need excellent sound.
Last time I was at the Astoria it was to see Explosions. Fuck Buttons were on the same night at the ICA. I made the wrong choice.
the amp caught fire? I thought they were decent.
And the Astoria is better than Koko - at least there's no stench from stale beer and vomit and god knows what else on the carpets.
in all honesty, fuck buttons will probably play both atp's.
B) However you can never have too much fuck buttons
Thanks Woodstock...I was hoping this might happen. If if doesn't...YOU JINXED IT :-)
Actually I kind of hoping that the rest of the bands to be announced for ATP EITS are all shit, as it's going to be a clash-nightmare already.
This is the wish I've been cradling safely till EITS's ATP, and now it's on the run! Few things would make me happier than to see the Fuck Buttons there!
The schedule clash is a near certainty, I think. Jurassic 5? Wahey!
are they playing any where up north?
anyone have any inside information?
if I can get a mate or two to come with.
It's a shame it's a wednesday and we're all still at school!
if you're still at school you have no genuinely serious reason not to go. in fact it's your duty.
well I've already convinced my mum to let me go (no mean feat) so it's looking good!
I sincerely hope that's not during exam time.
Don't wanna use seetickets.
is selling them now
May 2008 = worst month of my life so far :(
good job i didnt book this without checking anything in excitement and read the thread...it clashes with no age and ex models at the scala as someone correctly pointed out
there seems to be an awful lot of great bands playing around this time
